This guide will walk you through the steps to generate a Client ID and Client Secret in the Oloid Admin Portal. These credentials are essential for making API calls to integrate workflows and manage tenant configurations.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Log in to the Oloid Admin Portal
• Access the Oloid Admin Portal with your admin account credentials.
2. Navigate to Tenant Settings
• From the menu sidebar, click on the Tenant Settings icon (⚙️).
3. Go to the Security Tab
• Inside the Tenant Settings, locate the Security tab in the top navigation bar.
4. Open the Admin Tokens Section
• On the left-hand sidebar, expand the API Token section.
• Click on Admin Tokens.
5. Generate Admin Credentials
• In the “Generate Admin Credentials” section, click on the blue Generate button.
• A new Client ID and Client Secret will be created.
• Client ID: This is a unique identifier for your tenant.
• Client Secret: This acts as a password and should be kept confidential.
6. Use the Credentials for API Calls
• The generated Client ID and Client Secret can now be used as the username and password, respectively, in API calls.
Deleting and Regenerating Credentials
If you need to revoke the current credentials:
• Click the Delete button next to the existing Client ID and Secret.
• Repeat the steps above to generate a new set of credentials.

• Store the Client Secret in a secure location, such as a password manager.
