How to pair Windows Login endpoint from Supervisor App?

There are three ways to pair windows login. You may choose any of the following three methods:

Pair device using Config file

Pre-requisite:

If endpoint is created through the OloID Portal, you need to download the config file of the preferred endpoint from the OloID Portal. For details, refer How to download endpoint config file for Windows Login?


To pair an endpoint:

  1. Double-click on the Supervisor App to start.

    The Pair Endpoint page is displayed.

  2. Select Pair Device Using Config File.

    The Pair Device Using Config File screen is displayed.

  3. Select the json file you want to upload and click Open.

    Note: Check mark to Use the Machine Name as Endpoint Name (Optional).

  4. Click to Upload the endpoint JSON file.

    Note: You can choose Reset to upload the JSON file again.

    The Pairing endpoint screen is displayed.

  5. The Endpoint Name is auto-populated.

  6. Select Publish.

    The endpoint is paired successfully.

    Now, you can log in to admin mode.

Pair as Supervisor

Pre-requisite:

  • Application should be assigned to the supervisor

To pair an endpoint:

  1. Double-click on the Supervisor App to start.

    The Pair Endpoint page is displayed.

  2. Select Pair as Supervisor.

    The Pair As Supervisor login screen is displayed.

  3. Enter Supervisor email ID, and password and Click Login.

    The Pair as Supervisor screen is displayed.

  4. Do the following

    1. Select Template (Optional).

    2. Enter Endpoint Name.

      Note: The endpoint name field is auto-populated with the machine name by default, though it can be manually edited as required.

    3. Select Application Name.

  5. Click Pair Device.

    The Supervisor app is configured as an endpoint and the success message is displayed.
