Introduction
The Oloid Connect app provides five secure and convenient authentication methods- Face, QR Code, Badge, NFC/ID, and PIN. These methods allow users to quickly authenticate ensuring a seamless and reliable login experience.
Following are the authentication method used:
Authenticate using Face
Prerequisite
Your face must be registered in the Oloid Connect app.
Steps to authenticate using face
Launch the Oloid Connect
App. Note: Since the endpoint is already paired, the App will launch in the preview screen of the App. For more, refer to How to pair an Oloid Connect endpoint
The Welcome screen is displayed.
Tap Login with Face.
The Camera opens to capture the user's face.
Place your Face inside the oval frame in the screen.
After successful authentication, the user details appear at the top of the screen.
Authenticate using QR Code
Prerequisite
You must have your assigned QR Code.
Steps to authenticate using QR Code
Launch the Oloid Connect
App.Note: Since the endpoint is already paired, the App will launch in the preview screen of the App. For more, refer to How to pair an Oloid Connect endpoint
The Welcome screen is displayed.
Tap Login with QR code.
The Camera opens to scan the QR Code.
Place your QR Code within the oval frame on the camera to capture your QR code for authentication.
After successful authentication, the user details appear at the top of the screen.
Authenticate using Badge ID
Prerequisite
You must have your assigned Badge ID.
Make sure that the badge reader is connected with the endpoint.
Steps to authenticate using Badge ID
Launch the Oloid Connect
App.Note: Since the endpoint is already paired, the App will launch in the preview screen of the App. For more, refer to How to pair an Oloid Connect endpoint
The Welcome screen is displayed.
Tap Login with Badge.
The Scan Badge at the Reader screen is displayed.
Scan the Badge at the Reader.
After successful authentication, the user details appear at the top of the screen.
Authenticate using NFC/ID
Prerequisite
You must have your assigned NFC/ID.
Make sure the NFC/ID reader is connected with the endpoint.
Steps to authenticate using NFC/ID
Launch the Oloid Connect
App.Note: Since the endpoint is already paired, the App will launch in the preview screen of the App. For more, refer to How to pair an Oloid Connect endpoint
The Welcome screen is displayed.
Tap Login with NFC tag.
The Tap NFC Tag at the Device screen is displayed.
Tap NFC Tag at the reader.
After successful authentication, the user details appear at the top of the screen.
Authenticate using PIN
Prerequisite
You must have your registered PIN.
Steps to authenticate using PIN
Launch the Oloid Connect
App.Note: Since the endpoint is already paired, the App will launch in the preview screen of the App. For more, refer to How to pair an Oloid Connect endpoint
The Welcome screen is displayed.
Tap Login with PIN.
The Enter PIN to Login screen is displayed.
Enter PIN.
After successful authentication, the user details appear at the top of the screen.
