Introduction
After installing the Oloid DeviceLock app, you need to perform the initial configuration to enable its security and accessibility features. This setup ensures the app has the required permissions, such as camera, recording, device administration, and accessibility, to function effectively. Completing these steps is essential for activating Oloid DeviceLock and preparing it for secure use on your device.
Prerequisite
You must install the Oloid DeviceLock app. To install refer How to install Oloid DeviceLock App.
Steps to configure
Tap Open to launch the app.
The grant Camera and Recording permissions pop-up box is displayed:
On the pop-up box, tap on of the following:
While using the app โ The app can use the permission only when it is active.
Only this time โ The app can use the permission once, temporarily.
Donโt allow โ The app will not be allowed to use the permission.
The Activate device admin app pop-up box is displayed.
Tap Activate to allow Oloid DeviceLock to take control of the device.
Note: On Samsung devices, the Samsung Knox Notice screen appears. You can tap Agree to enable Knox protection.
The Appear on Top screen is displayed.
Turn on Oloid DeviceLock toggle to allow the app to appear above other apps > tap Back.
The Accessibility permission pop-up box is displayed.
Go through the Accessibility Permission consent > Select Agree with above consent.
Tap Agree.
The Accessibility screen is displayed.
Tap Installed apps.
The Installed apps screen is displayed.
Tap Oloid Accessibility Service.
The Restricted setting pop-up box is displayed.
Tap OK.
Note: To turn ON the Allow restricted setting : Go to your Android device Home screen > tap and hold Oloid DeviceLock app for app info > Tap " i " button > tap more action on the top right > tap Allow restricted setting.
The Restricted setting is allowed successfully for Oloid DeviceLock.
Go to Installed app screen > tap Oloid Accessibility service > turn ON the toggle.
The allow Oloid Accessibility service to take control pop-up box is displayed.
Tap Allow.
The Oloid Accessibility service is turned successfully.
Go back to your Android Home screen > relaunch the Oloid DeviceLock app.
The Oloid DeviceLock is installed and initial configuration is done successfully.
