How to map users to a group?

This document provides step-by-step instructions to map an user to a group in the Oloid Portal.

Mapping User to a Group can be done in two ways:

Add Group to a User

Steps to map user to a group:

  1. Log in to the Oloid Portal.

  2. On the home page of the portal, click Directory on the left menu panel.

    The Users page is displayed.

  3. Click user name to edit.

    The user detail page is displayed.

  4. Locate Groups tab and select + Add Group.

    The Add Group pop-up box is displayed.

  5. On the pop-up box, select group name from the Group Name dropdown list.

  6. Click Save.

    The group is listed in the Groups tab on the User detail page.

Add User to a Group

Steps to map user to a group:

  1. Log in to the Oloid Portal.

  2. On the home page of the portal, click Groups on the left panel menu.

    The Groups page is displayed.

  3. Click on a group name to edit.

    The group detail page is displayed.

  4. Locate Users tab and click + Add User.

    The Add User pop-up box is displayed.

  5. On the pop-up box, enter an existing username and select from the Username(s) dropdown.

  6. Click Add.

    The selected users are listed on the Group details page.
