How to Configure Application Type - Oloid Verify

This document provides step-by-step instructions to configure Oloid Verify in the Oloid Portal.

Introduction

Oloid Verify is a contactless authentication application for time and attendance, clocking, payroll compliance, and workplace access using facial recognition.

Steps to Configure Verify Application:

  1. Log in to the Oloid Portal.

  2. On the Applications page, click Application Name to be configured from the listed applications.

    The application details page is displayed.

  3. Do the following:

    Note: These are one-time settings and all the default settings are recommended.

    1. Settings tab: Modify Application name (Optional), Set Time-zone (Optional), Add Description(Optional).

    2. Advanced Settings tab:

      Do the following:

      1. Set-up tab: The default values are preconfigured.

      2. Actions tab: Enable Show Individual Action Status (Optional) and Show Action Status (Optional) to customize the messages your user sees on the Oloid Verify App.

      3. Health tab: Enter Integration Name and enter URLs that needs to be monitored.

    3. Configure tab:

      Do the following:

      1. Authentication tab:

        1. Choose the authentication type as per the requirement. Face is enabled by default. The following selections are allowed: only Face, only QR code, Face and QR, Face and Badge, QR and Badge, CloudKey.

        2. Modify Authentication Settings:

          Enable Offline Mode (optional)- This enables transactions without network availability as the device switches to on-device mode.

          Use Groups for Authorization (optional): Enable this option to download groups, so that users and endpoints of the same group are downloaded for authorization in offline mode.

          Note: Both options should be enabled together.

      2. Certify tab: Oloid internal use.

    4. Connections tab: Add Connections to map a connection to an application and save.

    5. Integrations tab: Enable Integrations to perform cloud-based actions.

    6. Validate tab: Oloid internal use.

    7. Exception tab: Enable Exception Actions to invoke actions in case of failure events.

    8. Click SAVE after each action to save your configuration.

The Application is configured.
