Introduction
The Login with Badge and PIN feature in the Oloid DeviceLock App allows users to securely access their Workforce/HRMS platform through a two-step authentication process. Users first tap their Badge on the device to verify their identity, followed by entering their PIN to complete the login.
Prerequisites
Ensure that the Android device is connected to an external card reader.
You must have a valid Okta account.
You must have your assigned Badge ID.
You must have your assigned PIN.
Steps to Log in with Badge and Pin
Press the Power button or tap the screen on your device.
Note: The Device Lock app is displayed automatically, as it always runs in Kiosk Mode.
The Welcome screen is displayed.
Tap Login with Badge.
The Scan Badge at the Reader pop-up box is displayed.
Tap the Badge on the Badge Reader to scan it.
After successful Badge authentication, the Enter PIN pop-up box is displayed.
Enter Pin.
After successful PIN authentication, you are signed in to the Okta system.
