Introduction
The Login with NFC and PIN feature in the Oloid DeviceLock App allows users to securely access their Workforce/HRMS platform through a two-step authentication process. Users first tap their NFC tag on the device to verify their identity, followed by entering their PIN to complete the login.
Prerequisites
Ensure the Android device is connected to an external NFC reader/card reader.
Note: If the Android device has a built-in NFC reader, you can scan the tag directly on the device.
Ensure the user is enrolled in the Tenant Admin Portal.
Steps to Log in with NFC and PIN
Launch the DeviceLock application on your device.
The welcome screen is displayed.
Tap Login with NFC Tag.
Note: You will only see the authentication methods (Face, Badge, PIN, QR Code, Password and NFC/ID) enabled for you. Button names may vary based on configuration. Contact Support if no authentication method appears.
Tap NFC Tag at the device page is displayed.
Scan the NFC Tag.
After successful NFC authentication, the Enter PIN page is displayed.
Enter the PIN.
After successful PIN authentication, you are signed in to the Okta system.
