How to configure Oloid Connect Endpoint

Steps to configure Endpoint:

  1. Log in to the Oloid Portal.

  2. On the home page of the portal, click Endpoints on the left menu panel.

    The Endpoints page is displayed.

  3. Click on endpoint name (Connect Endpoint) to edit from the listed endpoints.

    The Endpoint Details page is displayed.

  4. Do the following:

    The Oloid Connect Endpoint is configured successfully.

Configure Details Tab

  1. Edit Endpoint Name if required.

  2. Enter Endpoint Description. (Optional)

  3. Select Time Zone from the dropdown list. (Optional)

  4. Click Save.

Design Configure Tab

Configure the following tabs:

Endpoint Settings tab

  • Enable Use Endpoint in Admin Mode Only to restrict the endpoint device to Admin mode.

  • Enable Capture Location to activate location capture on the endpoint for each transaction.

    Note: The Location Permission of the device must be enabled to make the feature functional.

  • Enable Generate Debug Logs to activate log generation for the endpoint until disabled.

Groups tab

  • Enable One Face/User (On Device FR) to ensure that only one facial image of each user is stored on device as a reference for On-drive Transaction.

  1. Click + Add Group.

    The Add Group pop-up box is displayed.

  2. Select group(s) in Add Group field.

  3. Click Save.

Web Button tab

  1. Enable Web Button toggle to activate the web button on the endpoint preview screen to view transaction.

    1. Enter URL.

      Note: You have to enter the URL of the website where the user will review the punches.

    2. Enter Timeout duration.

  2. Enable Show only on Auth to allow the web button to appear only after successful authorization.

  3. Enable Auto Launch to automatically launch the web button and view transaction.

  4. Click Save.

    The Web Button tab is configured successfully.

Integration tab

You can Enable Integrations to perform cloud-based actions (Optional).

Health Setup Tab

You can view and configure Health of the endpoint on Health Setup tab

Configure Transactions Tab

You can view detailed user transactions on the Transactions Tab. You can monitor transaction statuses and filter transaction results based on success or failure.

Configure Health Response Tab

You can check the health status of the endpoint.

  • Enable Share Endpoint Logs to share logs.

  • Enable Relaunch.

  • Click Check Health to initiate a health check successfully.
