Errors and Troubleshooting: M-Tag Name not showing in the App.

Problem: M-Tag Name is not showing in the App.

When the App is launched and user is near the door (within the required range), the M-Tag name (door name) doesn’t show up.

Probable Cause:

  1. Bluetooth is disabled on the phone

  2. M-Tag has run out of the battery

  3. Hardware issue

Solution:

  1. Check if Bluetooth is enabled on the phone. In case Bluetooth is disabled in the phone, user should see a banner on top to enable Bluetooth. Enable the Bluetooth and then try again.

  2. If Bluetooth is enabled in the phone and still unable to view the M-Tag name (door name), there is a possibility that the M-Tag has run out of battery. Try replacing the battery by following the below steps –

    a. Remove the Oloid Case.

    b. Remove the M-Tag.

    c. Remove the back panel of the M-Tag.

    d. Take out the battery carefully and insert a new one.

    e. Replace the back panel of the M-Tag and place it in the Oloid case.

    f. Put back the Oloid case on the RFID reader.

  3. Now try again.
