How to create an application

This document provides step-by-step instructions to create an application in the Oloid Portal.

An application is a set of configurations depending on the product (FR, Thermal, QR, BLE, etc, or a combination of any of these) the customer is subscribed to.

An application is created from the Oloid Portal and then mapped with the end user device (also known as Endpoint, mostly an iPad).

Steps to Create an Application:

  1. Log in to the Oloid Portal.

  2. On the home page of the portal, click Create Application in the top right corner.

    The Create New Application pop-up box is displayed.

  3. On the pop-up box, do the following:

    1. Enter Application Name and select Application Type.

    2. Click Create.

      An application is created based on the application type.

  4. Add required details to configure the application and click Save.

    The application is configured and listed on the Application page.
