How to configure user details

This document provides step-by-step instructions to configure user details in the Oloid Portal.

Introduction

The User Details section in the Oloid Portal allows administrators to create, assign, manage and update user-credentials for all users in the connection(s).

Pre-Requisite

You must have a Tenant Admin account.

Steps to configure User Details:

  1. Log in to the Oloid Portal.

  2. On the home page of the portal, click Directory icon on the left panel menu.

    The Users page is displayed.

  3. Click user name to edit.

    The User details page is displayed.

  4. Configure the following:

    The User details are configured.

Do the following:

  • Edit Full Name. (if required)

  • Enter User Email ID. (optional)

  • Enter Badge ID/Secondary ID. (optional)

  • Enter Wiegand Format. (optional)

  • Enter External ID. (optional)

  • Enter Phone. (optional)

  • Select User Type from the drop-down list. (optional)

  • Enter Supervisor Name. (optional)

  • Enter Supervisor Email. (optional)

Configure Credentials Tab

You may enable one or more credentials based on your requirements.

Face tab

To use face as credential, configure Face option. The Face tab allows you to add or invite user to add face for authentication.

Note: A user face cannot be onboarded if the user has not provided consent in the Oloid User Portal.

Do the following:

QR Code tab

To use QR Code as credential, configure QR code option. The QR Code tab allows you to manage the user's QR code credentials.

Do the following:

Badge tab

To use badge as credential, configure Badge option. The Badge tab allows you to assign or enroll a user's badge for authentication.

Do the following:

Bluetooth tab

To use Bluetooth as credential, configure Bluetooth option. The Bluetooth tab allows you to manage user's Bluetooth credential.

Do the following:

  • Create Bluetooth: Select this option to generate a new Bluetooth credential for the user. For further information, see How to add Bluetooth as credential to users

  • Invite to Download app: Select this option to send an invitation to the user to download the Oloid app. For further information, see How to invite to Download Oloid App to a user.

  • OloID App Settings: Select this option to view the auto-unlock methods used by the user in the Oloid app.

Windows Password tab

To use Windows Password as credential, configure Windows Password option. The Windows Passwords tab allows the admin to create and manage the user's Windows login credentials.

Do the following:

Vault Passwords tab

To use Vault Password credential, configure Vault Passwords option. The Vault Passwords tab allows you to manage the user's web password credentials.

Create Password: Select this option to create password for web (Chrome Vault) application. For further information, see How to create Vault Password for a user.

PIN tab

To use PIN credential, configure PIN option. The PIN tab allows you to manage the user's PIN configuration.

Do the following:

NFC/ID tab

To use NFC/ID credential, configure NFC/ID option. The NFC/ID tab allows you to manage the user's NFC/ID configuration.

Assign NFC/ID: Select this option to assign NFC/ID to the user. For further information, see How to assign NFC/ID as a credential to the user.

CloudKey tab

To use CloudKey credential, configure CloudKey option. The CloudKey tab allows you to manage the user's CloudKey configuration.

Create CloudKey: Select thid option to create CloudKey. For futher information, see How to add CloudKey as credential to users.

Groups tab

The Groups tab allows you to add a group to the application.

Transactions Tab

The Transactions tab allows you to view the transaction history of the user.

Consent tab

The Consent tab shows the user’s current consent status and their complete consent history.

Note: Consent Status are as follows:

  • Provided: User has provided consent for adding face

  • Denied: User has rejected consent

  • Pending: User has been sent the consent and user action is pending.

  • Reconsent Pending: User had previously denied consent and was re-shared the consent and user action is pending.

Click the download icon to save consent file.

Select Consent History screen to view past consents and their status.
